Fabiola Martha Muñoz Dodero, assumed on March 11, 2019 the position of Minister of Agriculture, in replacement of the engineer Gustavo Eduardo Mostajo Ocola, after serving previously as Minister of the Environment.
The new minister is aware of the sector, since she has been executive director of the National Forestry and Wildlife Service (SERFOR) and director of the General Directorate of Forestry and Wildlife – DGFFS.
She has also served as deputy director of the Cooperation Program of the United States Forest Service in Peru, Peru Forest Sector Initiative; consultant of the International Program of the American Forest Service – USDA Forest Service International Programs and consultant of the Multisector Commission to Combat Illegal Logging in the World.
